Privacy Policy
What we collect when you build a store with us or shop in one, why we collect it, and the control you keep over it.
Who this policy covers
This policy covers two groups of people. Sellers are the people and businesses who create a store with us. Shoppers are the customers who visit and buy from those stores.
For seller accounts, we decide how account information is used. For shopper information collected inside a store, the seller decides how it is used and we process it on the seller’s behalf to run the store.
Information we collect from sellers
- Account details: name, email address, store name and the answers you give during setup, such as what you sell and where you sell now.
- Store content: product photos, product text, prices, pages, theme settings and policies you create.
- Business details you choose to add, such as a GSTIN, pickup address and bank details needed by payment partners.
- Usage information: pages of the dashboard you use, device and browser type, and error logs that help us fix problems.
- Messages you send through the Help Tab.
Information collected from shoppers
When a shopper buys from a store, the store collects what is needed to complete the order: name, phone number, email address, delivery address and order details.
Card, UPI and bank details are entered on the payment partner’s secure page and are handled by that partner. Stores built with us do not receive or store full card numbers.
How we use information
- To create and run your account and store, and to publish the pages you approve.
- To generate AI drafts of product titles, descriptions, sizes and tags from the photos and notes you provide.
- To process orders, send order and shipping updates, and show your Store Insights.
- To send service emails such as login details, billing notices and security alerts.
- To answer Help Tab messages and improve the product.
AI-generated content
Photos and notes you add are processed to create draft product text for your store. Drafts are shown to you for review and are only published when you approve them. We do not use one seller’s private store data to write content for another seller.
Sharing with service providers
We share information only as needed to run the service:
- Licensed payment partners, to process payments and settle money to the seller’s bank account.
- Courier and logistics partners, to book pickups and provide tracking.
- Hosting, email and messaging providers, to run the platform and send notifications.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share shopper data with advertisers.
Your data belongs to you
Store and customer data belong to the seller. Sellers can export products, customers and orders at any time from the dashboard, on every plan.
How long we keep information
We keep account and store data while your account is active. If you close your store, we delete or anonymise store data within 90 days, except where we must keep records such as invoices for legal, tax or accounting reasons.
Security
Stores are served over encrypted connections, access to systems is limited to people who need it, and payment details are handled by payment partners rather than stored by us. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your login details private.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, protect forms from spam and remember your cart in stores. If a seller adds their own analytics or advertising tools to a store, those tools follow the seller’s own policies.
Your choices and rights
You can view, correct or delete your account information from settings, or ask us through the Help Tab. Shoppers who want to access or delete their information should contact the store they bought from, and we will help that seller respond.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will tell sellers by email or in the dashboard before the changes take effect.
